Our October book is Commonwealth by Ann Patchett. We’ll be meeting Monday, October 22 at Bobbie Hall’s condo in Bloomington, 7 pm.
We did not choose a date or location for November, but here’s the book: Lab Girl, by Hope Jahren. This is a 2016 memoir; it won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Autobiography. “It is at once a thrilling account of her discovery of her vocation and a gifted teacher’s road map to the secret lives of plants….” (NYT review)
Remember, no book group in December, and January is Classics Month.
