Good News: Advent 2021 will look a little different than Advent 2020. Beginning November 21 we will start having small groups of members in worship through the Sunday after Christmas. We are excited that we will begin to be in-person and online. Another added excitement is Lyndale UCC and Salem will also be gathering with small groups of members. It will feel like the SpringHouse community on Sundays again!

With that said and amid the excitement of getting to be in-person and online there are several important items you need to know:

1.There are 8 spots available for each Sunday, and at this time we can only allow members of FCC to signup. There is a registration form on our website. If you have trouble accessing the registration form, please reach out to Pastor Laurie and she will register you if there is still room.

2.Please only sign up for one Sunday as we only have 48 total spots.

3.You must be fully vaccinated to attend in-person worship. No exceptions.

4.Masks must be worn the entire time you are in the building. No exceptions. This also means masks are worn during the worship service and must cover your nose and mouth.

5.High filtration masks are suggested but as long as you have a mask on, we will be happy! (Target carries these masks.)

6.If you were not a part of our two test groups back in the summer be prepared that in-person worship is a little different than pre-covid in-person worship.

7.We ask that you arrive no later than 10:15 for worship so that we can give some worship instructions and make sure that everyone has a mask on.

8.After services, people can visit in the sanctuary if they so desire. There will not be fellowship time/coffee/etc in the Gathering Space.

9.We know that we will have one 7 pm Christmas Eve service. Christmas Eve will not be on the registration form at this time. We will let you know when that form is ready!

We am so excited for us to finally be able to have in-person and online worship. We have worked hard over the past 19-20 months to have our online members experience a service that is engaging and one in which they feel included. That is not going to change. Whether you attend online or in-person we want you to feel included and most of all welcomed. We know that means changes in “how we used to do things” for all of us. The world has changed since March 2020 and in many ways, it has brought new life to the church. Thanks be to God that no matter the changes that come we are bound together by the love of God, and we know that God is calling us into the future! Much love and peace, Pastor Laurie
