DESCRIPTION:To join the Coffee Hour through your phone: (312) 626-6799\, Meeting ID: TBA \n9 -10 AM: Coffee With The Pastors online and in person; light refreshments provided \n10-11 AM: Making Christmas decorations: Beaded Chrismons* and cut out bells. During Advent 2×3 inch pictures will be taken of members to put onto a bell which will be hung on the Christmas tree in the sanctuary. \n11 AM – 4 PM: Cookie baking for Aliveness Project.\n11 AM – 1 PM: Dough prep.\n1 PM: Baking starts. \n*Chrismons are religious symbols representing the Christian faith. The word is a combination of Christ and monogram. Irene Hinote\, who was Barb Rusinak’s mother and Steve and Becky Rusinak’s grandmother\, was well known at FCC for making amazing and beautiful Chrismons. \nOur Advent giving (instead of poinsettias) will be for Refugee Services through Minnesota Council of Churches. Here is a list of items that we can provide for new refugees to our area. \nTableware (Plates\, bowls\, drinking glasses\, mugs\, silverware)\nCookware (Cookies sheets\, baking dishes\, mixing bowls\, serving bowls\, food storage containers\, serving trays\, kitchen knives\, kitchen utensils such as wooden spoons\, slotted spoons\, spatulas\, ladles\, can openers\, dish rags/dish towels\, potholders) \nItems can be placed in the South Sanctuary. Starting December 1\, you may also donate money through Givelify for this Advent project or send a check to the church office. Mission and Outreach will shop for you!
