Every Meal is a program that distributes week-end meals to school children throughout Minnesota. First Christian is responsible for helping with the distribution at Whittier School, 315 W. 26th Street, Minneapolis. Distribution time is 10:00am. Check in at the office where the school receptionist will have the list for you.
One thing for all volunteers to know is that there is have a new system for volunteers in the building, where you will need to get a badge printed in the main office every time you come in. The first time you come, please bring an ID (that makes it quicker to make the badges). From then on, you’ll just need to share your name & DOB and Whittier should be able to pull up your past info. These badges are similar to what you might see in a hospital – they time out at the end of the day and have a picture ID on them. Just some new safety precautions!
When finished you can put it in Cassie (the social worker’s) mailbox.
