DESCRIPTION:During one of our summer worship services\, Pastor Dan Adolphson preached a powerful sermon on one of the “clobber texts.” Pastor Dan will lead a fall adult study called “Digging Into the LGBTQ Clobber Verses.” In this study\, we will be looking at the ‘clobber passages’ in the Bible that are used against the LGBTQ+ community. We’re going to look at the context of the passage and other cultural influences\, pulling from a variety of sources and scholars.
