You’re invited to attend Trinity Institute (TI2016), an annual conference that takes place in New York City—but you can attend at Central Lutheran Church! They bring all the elements of the NYC conference to you via webcast.
The topic for the 2016 Trinity Institute is “Listen for a Change: Sacred Conversations about Racial Justice”. TI2016 recognizes that many of us avoid conversations about race because they’re difficult, uncomfortable or could risk being perceived as prejudiced. The conversations in TI2016 will be learning opportunities: chances to talk skillfully in theological reflection groups about charged issues with people who might have differing perspectives, with less apprehension.
This is a free event and you may attend part or all of the conference. Space is limited. Early registration is strongly advised. The event will run January 21 – January 23, 2016.
