In partnership with the Minnesota Council of Churches, First Christian Church will be holding a prayer vigil to remember the Mother Emmanuel 9 killed on June 17, 2015 at a Bible study and prayer service at Mother Emanuel AME in Charleston, South Carolina. We will be holding the Mother Emanuel AME congregation and families of victims in prayer, repenting of systemic racism, and asking God to heal our country. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The vigil will take place December 30th at 7 pm in the South Sanctuary at SpringHouse Ministry Center, 610 West 28th St. Those who died were:
