The first SpringHouse intergenerational event of the season will be Oct. 309:15-10:15 am in the Gathering Space. Come celebrate Dias de los Muertos (Day of the Dead.) and learn about this meaningful Mexican Catholic tradition and go beyond the sugar skull and pretty costumes. Like our own All Saints tradition, this is a day to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died. One Dia de los Muertos tradition is to eat a favorite food of the loved ones we are celebrating. Consider bringing a dish to share so that we can fill the table with dishes of those who have left us with wonderful memories. All are welcome. There will be crafts, sharing, lighting of candles, setting of altars, fun and food.
