On Gathering Sunday we will welcome a special guest preacher. Daniel Romero will join us to talk about our shared work of becoming truly Immigrant Welcoming.
Daniel is currently serving as Minister of Faith Formation at First Congregational Church of Minnesota UCC. He came to Minneapolis from Chicago where he worked for many years as a social worker and a faith-based community organizer before answering his invitation to ministry. He has been working on the MN UCC Immigration team in leadership since he arrived.
You may also know him from his work with our joint Minneapolis day camp this summer, as he was one of our three Coordinators. We are looking forward to a great morning of joint worship together, 10:30 am in the South Sanctuary. There is a potluck afterwards, please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
