Adam Conrad is an American composer/conductor that ranges from folk music to the concert hall. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, after attending school, he found himself in the twin cities where he collided with great opportunity.Since the age of 10, Conrad has been composing and conducting music under the guidance of his grandfather Allyn Ferguson, a prolific freelance composer/conductor for TV, Film, Jazz & Classical. Four years ago, Conrad wrote, directed and conducted his own promenade style musical under the start of his own company, “Coffee Pot Productions”. He also is the co-creator of “Potted Meet Mondays”, a monthly residency that features a 30 piece improvising orchestra under his own baton. Currently, Conrad is writing a Piano Sonata, Bassoon Concerto and Horn Concerto and is looking to take his conducting to a Masters level.
